Perception
Today let's muse a bit in form,And ask Perception what it's for
It seems a choice, though hidden be,
To hide from us what we don't see.
We think objective, that we are,
Are here to choose from candy's jar,
The black, the red, the yellow ones,
The Sweat, and sour, bitter ones...
Let's eat the ones that give us health,
And hate the ones that do not melt,
That at the end of this fine day,
We can define ourselves this way.
Yet what if mind in dream did place,
The candy jar with all it's tastes,
To give us proof that we are here,
So we define ourselves so clear ?
Apart from everyone we see,
Our definition "unique" is me,
So candy did fulfill a need,
Perception's point, a poison seed ?
And what if mind in dream did place
The reader here, with all your tastes,
To give me proof that I'm not you,
So I may see what is not true ?
And why are you less perfect from
The self I made, the "holy" one,
That I can bless you with my whit,
And feel so good that you're but shit ?
Why dream and dreaming what's not true,
What thought inside creates the stew ?
Let's ask the dreamer deep inside,
Why this mad world is there outside ?
It seems two "pushes" are inside,
Like Ying and Yang from the world's East side,
One towards the All that IS can be,
The other towards what can not be.
Exclusion is what it would be,
But Love is full, and can not be,
Apart, above, below, outside;
These attributes are but of mind.
Asleep awhile in thoughts of death,
In fear of Life, of Holiness,
So let us make our purpose be,
Today to move towards Love to free,
This Love includes just everyone,
It's free for all, because we're One,
It is what God did make Himself,
Not what we made in self defense.
Perception takes the goal you hold,
And finds in stuff, supports your goal
And you apart yourself will see,
Or held by Love with All will be.
Again we ask what purpose we?
Would hold in mind, that we would be,
Let's muse on this awhile to be
The dreamer's purpose for us to see.
Perception
Perception is how we interpret our experiences. We see an object, and then interpret it based on our image of ourselves...Can we see without interpreting?
