Faith

Faith

Once upon a time there was,
A man who had a dream;
A Dream to conquer Everest,
In a country never seen,

His faith was strong, his will a sword,
He was driven day and night
He ate and slept the dream of gold
To him there was no fight.

He saw himself, the conqueror, Upon the mountain top,
He knew nothing would stop him,
For in him there was no fright.

He never stopped to think
"Should I?", or "maybe, this or that",
He listened to his heart of joy,
For he knew that "it was that"

In "Faith" there is no worry,
In "Faith" there's only ease;
The thinking mind impedes us,
But the heart laughs at
dis-ease.

Faith

I used to think that "faith" was belief in a dogma, but it has nothing to do with dogma. Real faith is beyond belief & beyond thinking --an inner knowing that "all is well."
